Assistant Professor of History/History Education and Social Science Education Coordinator. Ph.D. from an accredited institution in History or Social Science Education preferred. ABD considered. Research field open. Must be eligible for secondary social science licensure in North Carolina. Duties include administering the social science education program, advising social science education students, representing the program on various committees, supervising student teachers, and teaching undergraduate courses. All full-time faculty in our growing department teach freshman/sophomore level liberal studies courses, upper-level/graduate courses, and play significant roles in implementing the university’s new Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
