BA in English with Writing Concentration (39 hours in major) 

Under-graduate writing majors can take beginning and advanced courses in fiction, poetry, non-fiction, business and technical writing, and publishing. They combine these courses with study of literary masterpieces, computer applications, and a foreign language. 

Minor in Writing (18 hours) 

No matter what field you choose, good written communication will help you get the job and get ahead. Many students combine a minor in writing withmajors such as Art, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Design, Biology, Education, Music, Recreational Therapy, or Communications.
