Directions

Most events of the literary festival take place in the University Center of Western Carolina University (# 31 on the printable campus map, below), which is located in the in the scenic mountains of Cullowhee, NC. Follow these directions to campus. See below for a map of campus and available parking.

Parking

Visitors may park in student or faculty/staff spaces (white or yellow space) which are not designated as a special use space, reserved space, handicapped space, loading zone, etc.

University Police do not ticket for evening events, but they do occasionally ticket for daytime events. Vistors who receive a parking citation for no registration may have that citation waived by filling out the back of the citation and bringing it back to the English Office or a Lit Festival Staff person, or by mailing it to the Traffic Office (instructions are on the back of the citation).

Shenandoah Shakespeare Tickets and Parking

For tickets to the Shenandoah Shakespeare festival event, which takes place in the Fine and Performing Arts Center, visit the FPAC web site. Tickets for this event are $10 general admission; $7 for WCU staff and non-WCU students; and $5 for WCU students who present a valid student ID.
