Majoring or Minoring in Literature

Every career needs critical thinkers and good communicators. Because their skills, English majors with well-chosen minors can adapt easily and shift geers in uncertain job markets.

If you're looking for a major that combines great ideas, excellent teaching, terrific conversation, intelligent peers, and good preparation for almost any career, consider majoring with us. If you've chosen another field that values clear writing and deep insight, a minor in English literature goes well with everything.
