| The M.A. degree
in English is awarded upon the successful completion of the the requirements
outlined in the Guide to Graduate Study.
English majors may not offer for a graduate degree more than two English courses from any one of the nine areas of specialization without written permission of the student's adviser and the chair of the English Department Graduate Committee. The areas of specialization, reading lists, and details on the comprehensive examinations over those areas are described in the current Guide to Graduate Study, downloadable here, or available upon request from the Department of English. |
