APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applications for graduate degrees in English are reviewed and approved by the Director of Graduate Studies in English and the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies. Applicants for an M.A., M.A.Ed. or M.A.T. in English must have at least a 2.75/4.0 GPA for the last 60 hours of undergraduate work.

• Official transcripts required.
• a combined GRE score of at least 800 in Verbal and Analytical sections. Official test scores required.
• three letters of recommendation
• a Writing Sample: generally, this should be an undergraduate paper, but applicants may choose any piece of work which accurately represents their writing ability. (Pending approval of the curricular process.)
