Laboratories
The chemistry and physics department has both instructional laboratories and research laboratories with powerful instrumentation to accommodate the needs of our disciplines in these sciences.  We are currently renovating our laboratories and anticipate completion within the coming years

Stockroom
The stockroom is equipped with regularly used chemicals and glassware to support research projects and instructional laboratories. The stockroom manager, is also responsible for chemical waste removal and safety education.

Glass Shop
The glass shop is available for both contracted work and student access. The shop has a glass blowing bath as well as numerous torches allowing for a variety of glass work. Designs may be acquired one of two ways  (1) submitted for construction or (2) individual consultation with glass shop staff/department faculty.

Machine Shop
The department maintains general machining facilities primarily to support research projects.
