SCULPTURE OVERVIEW The sculpture program focuses on the conceptual, technical, and formal aspects of art making and evaluation. Sculpture students develop skills in traditional media (wood, metal, stone, and plaster) and investigate non-traditional media (installation, multi-media, experimental techniques and materials.) They are supported in finding their own uniquely suited ways of expression along this spectrum. Students also develop an understanding of their relationship to contemporary and historical art movements, theory, issues, and artists.
