Open House to be held April 19
Each semester the Department of Art and Design has its own Open House during the school week so that prospective students and community members can see WCU's studios in full use. This semester's Open House will be Thursday, April 19 from 9 a.m. until noon.
Event Locations
FPAC - Fine and Performing Arts Center (including Art Museum exhibits) Belk Building - one building north of FPAC
MHC - Mountain Heritage Center across from west entrance of FPAC -- tall white building “HFR”.
Event Schedule
- High School or Community College Student Portfolio Reviews/Feedback by WCU Faculty. Please bring 10-20 actual works or photos.

Mountain Heritage Center
- Theater in Education Production: "Dogwood's Search - Respect for Nature and the Environment." A fabulous production based on a Cherokee Myth with student-designed costumes/sets.
