David
Heesch is a senior at WCU who is earning Bachelor
of Science in physics and a minor in professional
writing. He is the president of the Society of Physics
Students, an appointed member of the Dean of Arts
and Sciences Student Advisory Committee, and recipient
of the 1999 Physics Student of the Year award. He
plans to be a freelance science writer after he graduates.
