Right outside the U.C., the quad's the favorite hangout for catching a few rays, throwing Frisbee, or chatting with friends. (See what's happening on the quad right now!)

On WCU's 100th birthday in 1989, alumni funded the tower as a symbol of the impression the university made on them.

The tower chimes every hour on the hour and serves as the gathering point for activities from protests to picnics, concerts and festivals.

Now that you've seen the hub, let's get on with the tour! Begin with academics or skip to residence life or leisure.
