Who Am I?
After being born in Atlanta, Georgia, I spent my childhood growing up in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and my adolescence in the small town of Oswego, located in upstate New
York. Prior to beginning high school, I relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina where
I graduated from Vance High School and eventually made my way to Western Carolina
University where I graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and Law, along
with completing a minor in Leadership. After a transitory period of pursuing a career
in law, I chose to explore other options at that point in my life and I was lucky
enough to be able to return to my alma mater and begin working at the Office at Admission
and given the opportunity to work alongside prospective Catamounts as they find their
home for a quality higher education.
Who Am I?
Upon graduating high school, I wanted to go to place where I could begin a new chapter
in my life and a fresh new start, while achieving a quality education in my field
of study. During my initial visit of WCU, I knew I could achieve all that and much
more here. Aside from the natural beauty that the area provides, the people you run
into around here are nothing short of polite and helpful. The students, faculty, and
staff share a close relationship to each other, which allows for cohesive collaboration
amongst each other for the betterment of the university and the local community. Whenever
I speak to a potential student about WCU, the foremost thought that comes to mind
is that of “it is truly a place unlike any other and it is a place that is difficult
to explain unless you experience it for yourself.” WCU will make you bleed Purple
and Gold!
