Who am I?

I am from Elkin, North Carolina and I graduated from Western with a B.S. in Communication/Science Disorders.  My job is working with transfer students in the Office of Admission. I truly enjoy my job because I get to help promote a university I love!

Why Western? 
Western is an experience of a lifetime! It has a small-town feel with a lot of action. My high school was small, so coming to a school with a 14:1 student-to-teacher ratio was the perfect fit for me. I love athletics and Western has over 50 different intramural programs to join. If you love the outdoors like I do, the possibilities are endless. WCU offers something for all seasons: skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, or just sight-seeing at the Cherokee Indian Reservation or Blue Ridge Parkway. Western is a place for students, families, and—best of all—YOU!
