If you're interested in seeking a grant or contract to support a research or project idea, the WCU Office of Research Administration in Graduate School and Research is where you start. There is an increasingly complex world of regulations, accountability and reporting that accompanies funding resources but we can help you navigate through with confidence.Whether the funding source is a government or private sponsor, the funding method is a grant, contract, subcontract or cooperative agreement and whether you are being paid by the sponsor or not, you must receive institutional approval for your research or project before submitting an application but we'll be with you every step of the way.

The Office of Research Administration is a comprehensive resource for faculty and staff interested in receiving grant or contract support. We are more than paperwork processors. We provide assistance with developing project ideas, conducting research for grant funding, development of the grant application package, submission of the application to the grant sponsor and administration of the award. Research administration staff can also aid in the identification of on-campus and off-campus Co-Principal Investigators or collaborators. Our goal is to provide quality support to you to insure that every proposal submitted is highly competitive and brings resources to you and WCU. We are successful when you are successful!
