Every investigator submitting a proposal to a PHS-funded opportunity is required to successfully complete WCU’s Conflict of Interest Training course. All investigators, including faculty, staff, subrecipients, students, and affiliated investigators are included in this requirement.
Training is to be renewed every 4 years, and immediately under the following circumstances:
- Institutional Financial Conflict of Interest policies change in a manner that affects Investigator requirements
- An Institution finds that an Investigator is not in compliance with an Institution’s Financial Conflict of Interest policy or management plan.
