NOTE: May apply up to 90 days before the program end date and up to 60 days after the program end date. Applications must be received by USCIS within 30 days of the date the SEVIS Coordinator recommends OPT in SEVIS.
Curricular Practical Training Application (PDF)
For F-1 Students - the CPT training must be required by WCU department for completion
of degree, receive academic credit and appear in WCU catalog as an internship course,
or be part of an alternate work/study, cooperative education program.
Academic Training (AT) Application (PDF)
Academic Training (AT) provides an opportunity for J-1 Visa holders to gain work experience
in their field of study before the student returns to their home country.
