INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CHECKLIST and ORIENTATION INFORMATION
Up-to-Date Checklist for International and Exchange Students recently admitted as an undergraduate, transfer and graduate student
In order to complete processing admission procedures, all vital documents that you need to return to this division of the Office of International Programs and Services (IPS) must be received no less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the term you intend to begin your studies at WCU.
All new international and exchange students to WCU must participate in an orientation program prior to each semester. Our division has designed a 4-5 day-long orientation to make your adjustment to the WCU campus as easy as possible. We require that all new students arrive on campus approximately one (1) week prior to classes starting both to attend this orientation and to have sufficient time to adjust to your new home and community here in Cullowhee, NC.

IPS is glad to know that you are interested in becoming a member of the WCU community. IPS is here to guide you through the application process, to answer your questions, and to introduce you to Western North Carolina.
