In 2012, the WCU Faculty Senate passed a resolution to amend the Faculty Handbook to reflect revised standards for the evaluation of effective teaching on our campus.
The WCU standards for teaching effectiveness are divided into three areas:
1. Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK)
2. Professional aspects of teaching
3. Student response to instruction
