The WCU Qualitative Research Group (QRG), an interdisciplinary, collaborative research seminar open to faculty, staff and graduate students, is beginning its 23rd year. It was founded at a time when qualitative research was relatively unknown.
The QRG is organized around participants’ qualitative research interests – from inception of ideas, to methods, proposals, discussion of papers, or presentation of software for data analysis. Participants simply indicate a topic they would like to present or process, and ask the facilitator to put them on the schedule.
Participants range from experienced qualitative researchers to novices. The meetings provide opportunities for those working on manuscripts, conference presentations, theses and dissertations to present and seek feedback on current or planned projects.
