Qualtrics Online Research Tool
The Coulter Faculty Commons provides training for the use of this online research
tool for faculty and students. Qualtrics is to be used by faculty, students, and staff
for reasearch and program review or evaluation only. It is not appropriate for ongoing

Institutional Review Board
The Institutional Review Board (IRB) oversees research involving human subjects at
WCU. For information about the IRB, including links to its forms and procedures, contact
Dr. Karvonen.
Qualitative Research Group
Facilitated by Dr. Ann Alexander in the Department of Educational Leadership and Foundations,
this group serves as a forum for the presentation of scholarly work related to qualitative
and mixed methods, discussions about qualitative methodology, and collaborative support
