The Critical Reading portion of the SAT is offered as a paper/pencil test to individuals applying to the WCU School of Nursing Program. Scores from this test can be used only for admission to the Nursing Program at WCU. Questions regarding admission should be directed to the to the WCU School of Nursing.
About the SAT-on Campus®:
Western Carolina University administers the Critical Reading portion of the SAT only.
The tests are sent to Educational Testing Services (ETS) for scoring. The scoring
process takes 2 1/2 weeks AFTER the test is received at ETS. After administration
of the test at Western Carolina University, the tests are sent to ETS within 1 working
day of testing by overnight delivery. Students should allow at least 3 weeks for the
test results.

Fees:
The fee for a regularly scheduled test date is $90 and is non-refundable.
If you are unable to sit for a regularly scheduled exam, click here to requetst a
custom date administration or call Susan Fouts at 828-227-7397 email sfouts@wcu.edu.
A customized test administraton is $175 and is non-refundable.
You must bring two forms of identification (one government issued photo identification). Students
must be on time for testing and will not be admitted once testing begins.
