Schedule-at-a-Glance:
Arrive on Sunday for the following:
2-5 p.m. Check-in and Welcome Packet pickup, Blue Ridge Residence Hall Lobby
5-6 p.m. Orientation for new participants (Instructor staff will meet at this time,
too.)
6-7 p.m. Get-to-know-you Banquet in Blue Ridge Conference Center (non-resident participants
and guests purchase tickets on enclosed Registration Form)
Typical Weekday Schedule:
7-8:15 a.m. Breakfast in university dining hall
8:30-10 a.m. Dulcimer skill courses
10-10:30 a.m. Break
10:30-11:30 a.m. Skill courses continued
11:30-1 p.m. Lunch in university dining hall
1-2:30 p.m. Electives
2:45-3:45 p.m. Optional Electives and organized jam sessions (shop in the Dulcimer
Emporium or take a break and rest if you prefer).
4-5 p.m. Dulcimer Ensemble with a special guest instructor one day (you may also shop
or continue resting)
5:30-6:30 p.m. Dinner in the dining hall
Evening activities: 7-9 p.m.
Mon. & Wed.: Intimate Concerts in the residence hall (you’ll be prompted about sign-up
process at check-in on Sunday)
Tues.: Open Stage (both solos and ensembles welcome; sign- up sheet in Dulcimer Emporium)
Thurs.: Instructors-in-the-Round: Community Concert at The Fine and Performing Arts

Friday

10:30-noon Farewell Assembly in Blue Ridge Conference Center (including performances
by ensemble class, dulcimer raffle, meet the baby dulcimers, and participant superlative
