The Income Tax Planning course includes an overview of income tax planning.
Topics include introduction to taxation; income tax fundamentals; tax calculation;
income tax law including primary vs. secondary sources of authority; resources for
income tax research; taxation of investment vehicles and tax treatment of gains and
losses. Additional topics include tax planning for employees; self- employed individuals
and small business.
