Centrally-located on campus, Balsam Hall (opened in August 2009) represents a $44 million investment in luxury, residential living reserved exclusively for Honors College students. The Honors College has grown from 77 students in July 1997, to around 1,300 current members.
Honors students suggested some of the most important architectural features, including
a lounge above a central archway and a garage band studio in the basement. The residence
includes a ballroom and six buildings. Explore the Residential Living website for more specific features of the Balsam Hall.
