Chris earned an M.S. in chemistry from the Western Carolina University graduate school
in 2012. He began at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in the
fall of 2012 with plans to earn his D.M.D. degree and continue with advanced training
before opening a practice in North Carolina to meet the needs of the under-served
population. The need for dentistry in North Carolina became apparent to him during
his time volunteering with the North Carolina Missions of Mercy free dental clinics
and at the Blue Ridge Free Dental Clinic in Cashiers, N.C. While at WCU, Chris was
an active member of the cycling team and was a graduate teaching assistant in the
Chemistry and
Physics Department.
