"It has always been my dream to be a veterinarian, and Western Carolina University provided the best opportunities for me to prepare for veterinary school admissions. The Biology Department supported me and gave me ample research experience both in the lab and in hands-on fieldwork that strengthened my application for admission into the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State. Western also provided me with the ability to pursue other passions of mine, such as music, where I was able to study piano and oboe music minors. Thanks to Western Carolina University, I could not have had a better undergraduate experience."
