Two Majors. Four Years. 120 Credit Hours.
Effective Fall 2011, we are no longer accepting applications.
Do you have a passion for the humanities that can't fit into one box? Could you see yourself majoring in literature and philosophy, for example, or art history and Spanish?
Would you like to live in a residence hall with other students who share your interests? And would you like to do it all in four years, rather than the five or more years it takes to double major?
The School of Art and Design and the Departments of Communication; English; Modern Foreign Languages; and Philosophy and Religion and the School of Stage and Screen have created special 27-hour majors designed for Humanities students; you can now combine any two of the majors—as long as they are in different departments or schools.
Areas of study include: art history, literature, motion picture studies, philosophy and religion, professional writing (business or creative writing), German, and Spanish.
Come join us. Discover a community of creative and free-thinking people who have a love for the arts, language, and big ideas.
