Mystics and mysticism, myth and symbols, theory and method in the study of religion, the religions of India (especially Jainism), ancient mystery religions (especially Gnosticism), Islam (especially Sufism and Qur’anic studies), new religious movements (especially esoteric revivals, Neo-Paganism, and Asian missions to the West).
