Course Description
Methods and Techniques for problem solving in mathematics. Prerequisite: Junior standing or permission of department head. Two semester hours (1 lecture,2 lab)
Objectives
1. To provide the student with methods and techniques that are helpful in solving problems.
2. To give the student the opportunity to improve his problem-solving skills.

Course Outline
- Problems are selected from the first eight chapters. Students work individually and in teams. Class presentations are given by each team.
- Note: At appropriate places in this course, time should be allotted to elaborate on the historical aspects relevant to the subject.
