Biography:
Dr. Anderson received his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama. His research interests
center on Cherokee history. He has published widely on this topic and serves as the
editor of the Journal of Cherokee Studies. His publications include A Guide to Cherokee Documents in Foreign Archives (1983, with James A. Lewis) and Cherokee Removal: Before and After (1992).
