Geography Program

Geography: The science of locational analysis. As scientists observing earth phenomena, geographers ask, Where is it? Why is it there? What is it like? Why is its location important? If you ask questions such as these, we invite you to join us and discover the answers.
Courses & Credit
When you take geography courses (select “GEOG” prefix) at Western Carolina University you’ll earn credit both for Liberal Studies or specific degree programs, and gain a unique global perspective of people and the environment.
