TESOL Program Information

Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at WCU

Tim Hendrix

"The program has been a joy for me. In wanting to go overseas and to have the credentials necessary to teach in the States, I have exactly what I need not only to find jobs but also to feel confident doing so. This program has opened my eyes to seemingly endless opportunities of TESOL and also to the wealth of knowledge that the field offers in other areas, such as speech therapy, composition, cultural awareness, and educational theory."

-Tim Hendrix, TESOL alumnus
