To become a communication major a student must have and maintain a 2.5 overall GPA. A student must earn a C or better in each class required for the major for the class to count toward the degree requirement. At least 30 hours taken at WCU must be at the junior-senior level to meet one of the general university degree requirements. To be admitted to the Journalism concentration a student must receive a B or higher in ENGL 101, ENGL 102, and COMM 240. |

To be admitted to the Journalism concentration a student must receive a B or higher in ENGL 101, ENGL 102, and COMM 240.
A communication major must have and maintain a 2.5 overall GPA. A student must earn a C or better in each class required for the major for the class to count toward the degree requirement. At least 30 hours taken at WCU must be at the junior-senior level to meet one of the general university degree requirements. A student must complete a minor, second concentration, second major, international study, or approved program to complete the degree.
Students may finish earlier if they attend summer school at WCU or another approved institution.
