Cutting-edge technology and facilities are a hallmark of the WCU experience. Your “classrooms” will include electronic classrooms, computer labs, a world-class digital TV studio in WCU’s Center for Applied Technology, and the region’s only local FM radio station.

For students who are seeking careers in professional broadcast sales and television station operations the department hosts professional certification examinations from the Radio Advertising Bureau and the Society of Broadcast Engineers. Professionally certified WCU graduates are sought out by the industry.
