The environmental science students and faculty frequently engage in cooperative learning activities that shed light on the social, natural, and physical effects on the environment. The club members include environmental science students, students from other majors across campus, and faculty.
The Environmental Stewardship (ES) Club is an organization designed to educate and inspire students, members of the community, and people with like interests through discussion of local and global environmental issues. The club’s goal is to raise environmental awareness by promoting environmental stewardship, developing an annual Earth Day event, and other activities on and off campus. ES Club members are currently organizing a campaign to increase recycling rates on campus.
The ES Club meets approximately every other week during the school year. Please contact Laura Dewald, program director, for additional information.
