Chemistry Program

The undergraduate degree options in chemistry include a B.S. approved by the American Chemical Society and our unique 4+1 program that allows you to obtain both a B.S. and M.S. degree in Chemistry.

You may also obtain a Chemistry B.S. degree in the following concentrations that allow for specialization:

  • In our General Concentration, students have the option to tailor their degree to match their interests or career goals in areas such as environmental chemistry or industrial chemistry.
  • Our Biomedical Science and Technology Concentration is designed for those students wishing to pursue a career in the biomedical or biotechnology fields, including students wishing to pursue a degree from a medical, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, or optometry school.

You can strengthen your degree in another discipline by adding a chemistry minor.

At the graduate level, we offer the Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemistry.
