Kimmel School Student Computer Requirement

Student with ComputerThe Kimmel School uses Virtual Computing Laboratories for instruction.

All students enrolling for courses in engineering and technology must have a laptop computer that meets standard university networking and hardware configuration requirements.


Construction Management Students - Please Note:

Because of proprietary software provided for their use, students in construction management will need more powerful computers with greater memory than those required for other majors. Students will need a minimum of 4 mg and preferably 8 mg to download free building-information-modeling software such as Autodesk ™ Design Suite, which integrates design and visual communication software (usa.autodesk.com). Please contact the Department of Construction Management to discuss this additional requirement.
