Concentration in Technical Operations
The off-site Engineering Technology Program - Technical Operations Program (ETO) enables individuals employed in business, industry and state-related occupations to pursue a four-year degree through part-time evening study. The program is designed for working adults who are seeking career advancement. Please see the ETO Eight-Semester Plan (PDF) for program details.
Students receive instruction through a combination of online and in-person evening classes at several locations but need not come to WCU's Cullowhee campus.
If you have a two-year degree in engineering technology and are interested in earning your bachelor's degree, please contact Bill McDaniel, the distance learning coordinator for this program, to discuss the structure and nature of the program and whether it is suitable for your situation.
As a transfer student, you may want to review the transfer admissions information for undergraduates along with the process for transferring credits from a community college or another university to WCU.
If you want to know more about the off-site program, contact Bill McDaniel. If you want to know more about other engineering and technology majors, the admission criteria, or the courses that are offered by the Department of Engineering and Technology, please contact the department at email@example.com.
