The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) program focuses on a foundation in Math, Sciences, and Engineering, augmented with engineering specializations. Our unique BSE program takes a Project Based Learning (PBL) approach to engineering education, emphasizing the hands-on application of theoretical and technical projects for WNC companies through the Center for Rapid Product Realization. A concentration in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering is available Fall 2012. Additional specializations in other engineering disciplines can be created to meet the needs of the region as the program develops. The BSE ME Eight-Semester Plan suggests the sequence of courses required for a BS in Engineering with Mechanical Engineering Concentration.
