First graduating class of Substance Abuse Studies Certificate Students

Social Work graduate students Janice Wilson, Nancy Lubowizc, Janice Kitson, Courtney Palmer, Tabitha Core, Robin Bryson, and Kristy Whitaker are WCU's first graduating cohort of Substance Abuse Studies students. These students will graduate with a Professional Certificate in Substance Abuse Studies along with their MSW and will be eligible for licensure as Clinical Addiction Specialists after one year post graduation.
The Master of Social Work (MSW) Program Received Full Accreditation Status October 2009

The MSW program is now fully accredited and will come up for reaccreditation in 2013. Accreditation status applies retroactively to all students who have previously graduated from the MSW program. For further information please contact John Hodges at 828-227-7112.
