Michael Riles (Biology Undergraduate Student) from Miami recently presented a poster titled “Vertical Distribution of Container-Inhabiting Mosquitoes in a La Crosse Virus Endemic Area” at the 60th annual meeting of the Entomological Society of America in Knoxville, TN. This poster was co-authored by Ms. Hope Mason (Environmental Health Sciences Senior from Franklin NC), Bruce Harrison (Affiliate Professor, Environmental Health), and Brian Byrd (Assistant Professor, Environmental Health Sciences).
Dr. Brian Byrd and Michael Riles gave platform presentations at the North Carolina Mosquito and Vector Control Association annual meeting (October 24-26, 2012) in Greenville, NC.
