Biography:
I received my B.S. from WCU in Recreational Therapy in 1998 and my M.S. from WCU in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2005. I returned to Western Carolina University in 2006 as a clinical supervisor. I currently supervise graduate students in our clinic on campus as well as in preschools in the area.
Currently I teach the clinical practicum class for our first year graduate students as well as Intro to Communication Disorders at the undergraduate level. I also enjoy working closely with our NSSLHA student organization as one of their two faculty supervisors.
When I am not teaching or providing supervision I enjoy spending time with my husband
Todd, my baby boy Lincoln, my cat (Porter) and our two dogs (Fontana & Earl-the Girl).
I love to run, and so far have completed seven marathons and four half-marathons.
If I am not running you can typically find me at Lake Fontana soaking in the sun and
playing in the water.
