Biography:
Susan Brown-Strauss is a professor of theatre and Costume Design / Technology. She has designed costumes for theatres in North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, and Nebraska, managed a costume rental house, designed costumes for film, and served as editor of Costume Research Journal. A member of United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT), Costume Society of America, and the Surface Design Association, she has a strong background in both costume design and costume technology. Degrees held include a B.S. in Art Education, M.F.A. in Art (Fiber Arts), and M.F.A. in Costume Design.
