2009 Spring Concert

On Sunday afternoon, April 26th, at 4 p.m. in the WCU Music Recital Hall, the Western Carolina Community Chorus will join the Western Carolina University School of Music Concert Choir, University Chorus, Artist-in-Residence Orchestra, and WCU faculty and student soloists for a performance of Franz Joseph Haydn’s oratorio, The Creation.  First performed in Vienna in April 1798 and 17 years later in Boston, the piece is widely regarded as a masterpiece of the choral literature.
