Biography:
Maura (Dugan) Colvin received her Bachelor of Music Education from the Crane School of Music at Potsdam College in Potsdam, NY, in May of 1994. She earned a Master of Music in Music Therapy from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fl, in December of 1996. Mrs. Colvin has taught general music and chorus in Title 1 elementary schools since the fall of 1996. She became a part-time adjunct instructor at Western Carolina University in the Summer of 2007.
Mrs. Colvin's professional interests include mentoring pre-service teachers and helping develop a reclaiming environment within her educational community. She and her family reside in a small town in Western North Carolina.
