The photography studios consist of several studio spaces dedicated to various photographic
activities such as: a multi-station, black and white darkroom equipped with Durst
medium and large format enlargers; filtered and temperature controlled water for film
processing; print finishing and critique rooms. The Department maintains a shooting
studio outfitted with an overhead strobe light system and two portable strobe units
for location set-up. There are also 4x5 view camera kits available for students.
For digital work the studio maintains scanning and file preparation for inkjet printing,
a media lab equipped with the latest Mac computers and up to date software, printing
stations with Epson printers, and a full spectrum image viewing unit.
