WCU’s School of Art and Design is committed to the idea that a solid education involves
a close collaborative relationship between faculty and students.
The faculty and staff are committed to giving the student, an excellent educational experience find that our small class sizes--our average student-to-teacher ratio is 13 to 1--give ample opportunity to participate in critical discussions and develop abilities to write and talk about art, including our students work.
Students will also become acquainted with professional practices in the field through developing a resume and meeting one-on-one with professionals in their field of interest.
Our Facilities and Technology is updated and advanced in order to provide marketable, up-to-the-minute skills. In fact, many of our students leave WCU and immediately enter the most sought-after fields and major markets.
