Why are you in the MBA program?
I'm in the MBA program because I'm a big believer in continuing education. I think that to be competitive in the modern job market, you always need to be pursuing more skills and knowledge in your chosen field. My professional passion is for marketing and I felt like an MBA is a great fit for me as it provides a well rounded view of buisiness while allowing me to develop as a marketer.

What aspect(s) of the program is the most valuable to you?
I like the interdisciplinary nature of most of the courses.  While each course has its concentration, the professors are great about incorporating each subject into the wider field of business administration. I don't feel like anything is being studied in a vacuum.  It's all about learning different subjects and then applying those back into what you do.

Describe your experience as a working full-time professional attending the MBA program part-time.
I love the flexibility of the program.  I don't feel like I have to put my life or my career on hold to get a degree.  I started out as a full time student.  I was self employed and had more flexibility with my study time.  After my first semester I decided to go to work full time and cut back to 1/2 time.  It was an easy transition and professors have been really understanding and helpful working with my professional schedule.
