The Department of Global Management and Strategy prepares students, drawn primarily from North Carolina and the surrounding states, to be productive contributors to society by being business ready® to meet the needs of profit and not-for-profit organizations.  Our students, who are required to demonstrate competency in six critical areas of management through the submission of a briefcase of documents prior to graduation, are prepared for innovative leadership through a unique curriculum that emphasizes active learning under highly-qualified professors and hands-on engagement with local, regional, national and international businesses.
