The Health and Physical Education (HPE) program leads to bachelor of science in education degree and a recommendation for a K-12 license to the NC Department of Public Instruction (DPI). HPE is a 128 hour program comprised of:
- 42 hours Liberal Studies
- 9 hours Professional Education Sequence
- 77 hours Major Courses
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- 50 hours Community Service/Professional Involvement Component
